Dreams and visions are common to all men and women. The only difference is that some of us cultivate the spiritual fields in which they grow while others allow the weeds and thistles of life, the cares and financial worries, to crowd out those dreams and visions.
There are many things one can do to encourage them. Being healthy is certainly important, as they more often flow in life's vital streams. Seeking God with all one's heart is an important tool, providing an opening for God to access to our mind's inner fields, where dreams and visions can be sown. And the most fertile ground for their cultivation is the soil of a faith-based community of like-minded God seekers.
