There are many, many stories revolving around this ministry/business called 3Circles Church Communities.   They are amazing, miraculous, even unbelievable stories, but I can assure you, every one of them is the gospel truth.   I have always been a stickler for the truth.  It comes from a strict upbringing where lying was considered one of the worst sins, simply because it destroyed trust.   And as a Boy Scout the value of truth telling was indelibly and permanently imprinted on my mind.

 

As an example of my trustworthiness, I will share this story regarding my children.   My former wife and the mother of our four children had sponsored me when we returned to Canada to care take the farm of a long time friend of mine.   She was a landed immigrant, having obtained that status by marrying a Canadian under false pretenses, simply to streamline her becoming a Canadian.    So it should have come as no surprise to me that when the Canadian authorities were considering kicking me out of the country that she suggested lying to them.   Telling the truth meant I would have to return to the states and suffer the loss of my children.   But for me there was no question of what I should do.  I told the truth.   

 

I hope that you now know a little bit more about my heart.  My entire life has been spent in a quest for truth.   And I have always understood that when I discovered the truth, it might not be what I expected or wanted.   However, for me there never any question about whether to accept it or not.    Regardless of where the truth might lead, I must follow.

 

For brevity’s sake I’m going to simply list the highlights of the highlights on this journey towards establishing 3Circles Church Communities.  You’ll find at the bottom of this page a link to a more detailed version, for those of you who want “the rest of the story”.  There are many life lessons there, so it’s well worth reading.

 

Please keep in mind that the dates are approximate and from memory only.  So if there are any discrepancies later, such as when I publish my life story, the new date will be the correct one, having been derived from my journals.

 

Also, you should know that those who become members will eventually be privy to events and details not shared here.  The outline of life events on the next page, starting just a few years before I decided to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, should suffice for proving God has been at work in my life, even before I was born-again.
